That’s because your drivers and dispatchers can communicate via texting wherever they are, while CB radios have limits on reaching an audience. Texting, of course, is against the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations for commercial truckers, so make sure your drivers are off their phones while driving. However, for handling communication when sitting still, text messaging is the easiest way to contact dispatchers, and vice versa.
